Artificial trees

With artificial trees you bring a little of the outdoors inside. Small or large imitation trees are also an asset on a covered terrace or a veranda. You do not have to wait for the tree to grow to full size: you enjoy greenery and shade right away. On a terrace or balcony they also provide a spot out of the sun. Think of imitation olive trees, artificial willows, fruit trees or trees with beautiful blossom.

Artificial trees for the home or the workplace

Trees are beautiful decorative pieces for furnishing a living room, a hallway or even a workplace. Real trees are not suited to being kept indoors: they need daylight to survive and take a fair amount of care. An artificial tree is then an excellent alternative. These trees are hard to tell from the real thing but require no particular location or care, such as pruning.

You can place artificial trees to give a space more atmosphere, but they can also serve as a real eye-catcher. In large living rooms or on a balcony, but also in a reception area or a meeting room. Artificial trees also work as decoration in the office itself. These green giants bring every workplace, meeting room and living room to life. Choose small artificial trees of 200 cm or large trees up to 300 centimetres.

Artificial trees suitable for outdoors

Would you like to give your garden or terrace imitation trees that need no maintenance? Then it is important that the artificial trees are suitable for outdoor use. These trees stand up very well to the weather. They are also not prone to fading from daylight or sunshine. As an alternative to artificial trees you could also consider an artificial hedge or artificial plants for outdoors. Do you have a balcony or a covered terrace? Then fake indoor trees are sometimes suitable outdoors too, provided they are sheltered from the sun.

Why choose an artificial tree?

Imitation trees have quite a few advantages. They need little maintenance and no water, of course. But there are more reasons to give your veranda, living room or office a fake tree in a planter or a large pot.

1. Artificial trees are easy to care for

No green fingers? With an imitation tree in the living room you do not need them. They need no water and no feeding. You also never have to prune artificial trees, something real trees do need in order to stay healthy and well shaped. Caring for artificial trees is as simple as dusting the leaves and branches now and then, ideally with a soft cloth.

2. Also for people with a pollen allergy or hay fever

Do you suffer from hay fever or a pollen allergy? Then artificial trees in the house or on the veranda are a very good alternative too. They are hypoallergenic and release no blossom or pollen that could make your asthma or allergy worse. That way everyone can enjoy greenery.

3. A realistic look

Good, high-quality artificial trees are reproduced in great detail and made from high-quality material. That makes them hard to tell from real trees. A modern imitation tree cannot be distinguished from a real one. It is a genuine eye-catcher in an interior that also happens to be very true to nature.

4. Suitable for any location

Real trees can be quite fussy about the ideal spot. Too much moisture or sunlight is not good, but a shaded position does not help growth and flowering either. With artificial trees you never have to think about it. These fake trees are at home anywhere: in dark offices and damp bathrooms, but equally in warm living rooms. Even standing close to a stove.

5. Long lifespan and cost savings

An artificial tree has a long lifespan. Unlike real trees, imitation trees do not depend on good care. You also do not have to worry about diseases, to which young trees in particular are prone. Artificial trees therefore generally last longer than real ones, whatever their location. In the long run that saves you not only on the purchase price but of course also on maintenance costs, such as enriching the soil with fertiliser.

What do artificial trees cost?

The price of an artificial tree can range from 300 to as much as 3,000 euros. The price depends on the quality and the material used, but also on the size: the bigger the artificial tree, the higher the purchase price. Even so, they are a good one-off investment, because you do not have to account for losses or maintenance costs.
