Artificial olive tree.

Artificial olive tree: a Mediterranean feel with no maintenance

The olive tree (Olea europaea) is one of the oldest cultivated trees in the world. It has been grown around the Mediterranean for more than 6,000 years for its fruit and its oil. Olive trees can live for hundreds of years. The oldest known specimens in the Mediterranean are estimated to be over 2,000 years old.

The tree belongs to the Oleaceae family, the same family as jasmine and privet. It is recognisable by its small, elongated leaves, silvery green on top and lighter underneath. The trunk grows slowly and develops a twisted, weathered structure over the years.

The NeverLeafs artificial olive tree

Our artificial olive trees are available from 120 to 180 cm. The trunk is real wood with natural irregularities. No two trunks are exactly alike. The leaves are small and fine, just as on a real olive tree. Some models carry small plastic olives on the branches.

A real olive tree indoors is difficult in the Netherlands. The tree needs plenty of sunlight, cannot take frost, and quickly suffers from mould and mealybugs in heated rooms. Our artificial version looks good all year round, even in a room without direct sunlight.

The artificial olive tree is popular in living rooms, but also in restaurants, hotels and offices. Its Mediterranean character suits a warm interior with natural materials such as wood, linen and terracotta.

Every olive tree comes with a plastic inner pot. To clean it, dust the leaves with a soft cloth. Free delivery from 50 euros. 14 days to change your mind.
