In short: choose the height to suit your ceiling and the spot. In an ordinary room with a ceiling around 260 cm, 150 to 180 cm fills the space nicely. For a corner beside the sofa, 120 to 160 cm works well.
Which size should you choose?
| Height | Suits | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 120 to 140 cm | Beside the sofa, at sideboard height, in the office | Subtle green accent |
| 150 to 170 cm | Living room, hallway, corner | Fills the space, at eye level |
| 180 to 200 cm | High-ceilinged room, mezzanine, beside the window | A real eye-catcher |
Why a large artificial plant?
- Instant atmosphere and volume, with no waiting for growth
- Maintenance-free, even in a difficult or dark spot
- Keeps its shape for years and never droops for lack of light
Tip for getting the size right
Measure the height of the spot and leave another 40 to 60 cm clear above the plant, so the proportions look right. If the plant stands beside a piece of furniture, go at least a head taller than that furniture.
This is how it looks in people's homes.
