Artificial eucalyptus: silvery green with a calming character
Eucalyptus is a genus within the Myrtaceae family with more than 700 species. Almost all of them originally come from Australia, where they make up the vast majority of the forests. Eucalyptus is best known as the food of the koala, which eats nothing but eucalyptus leaves.
Eucalyptus is recognisable by its round leaves, silvery blue to silvery green. In real life the leaves contain aromatic oils that have been used in medicine and cosmetics for centuries. In Australia the tree can grow to 100 metres, making Eucalyptus regnans one of the tallest tree species in the world.
Artificial eucalyptus at NeverLeafs
Our artificial eucalyptus is available as a tree from 120 to 160 cm tall. The round leaves are reproduced in detail with natural colour variation, from silvery green to soft blue, as in the real Eucalyptus gunnii and Eucalyptus cinerea.
Eucalyptus works well in a Scandinavian or minimalist interior. The soft, muted colour of the leaves combines beautifully with neutral tones such as white, beige and light grey. The plant also looks good beside other artificial plants for a varied effect.
A real eucalyptus indoors is difficult. The plant needs plenty of direct sunlight and copes badly with the dry air of central heating. The leaves dry out quickly and drop. Our artificial version has none of that and looks the same all year round.
All leaves are made from high-quality material. The trunk is real wood. Every plant comes with a plastic inner pot. Cleaning: an occasional dusting with a soft cloth. Free delivery from 50 euros.
This is how it looks in people's homes.
Real photos: sent in by customers and taken at our own shoots. No studio filters.
